Battery Automatic Rising Bollard Impact Ø220 x 500 mm – Galvanised

The Impact 220 battery-powered automatic bollard is the cable-free version of our Impact bollard. It runs on a rechargeable battery, so there is no need to run power to the bollard: no trenching, no cabling and no electrician. With a diameter of Ø220 mm and a height of 500 mm, it is ideal for homeowners who want to protect their vehicle or parking space, and for restricting access to areas with no power supply or where you would rather not install one.

Quick installation. You only need to set the ground sleeve into the ground: with no electrical work required, it installs in far less time than a conventional automatic rising bollard.

Up to 300 cycles on a single charge. The battery is easy to remove and recharge at home with the charger supplied. It also comes with a spare battery, so you always have a charged one ready.

What’s included:

• Impact automatic bollard, Ø220 × 500 mm, with stainless steel ground sleeve
• Rechargeable battery + 1 spare battery
• Charger for charging the battery at home
• 2 remote controls

Manufactured in our Barcelona workshop with a 4 mm thick steel body, galvanised and powder coated, resistant to weather and corrosion. The 2 mm stainless steel protective housing (ground sleeve) ensures a solid installation. The colour can be customised with a professional-quality powder coat.

Rise time of approximately 8 seconds and lowering time of 7 seconds. Fitted as standard with a red LED crown (blue available on request).

Manufactured in our own workshop and sold factory-direct.

Installation guide

This applies to almost all of our automatic bollards. On the battery versions there is no cabling to run to the control panel: skip the corrugated duct and step 7.

What the kit includes: ground sleeve, bollard with mechanism, control panel and 20 m of cable.

Steps

1. Hole: dig a hole 370 mm in diameter, with a recommended depth of 850 mm.
2. Gravel: lay a bed of gravel at the bottom.
3. Ground sleeve: measure the height of your sleeve (around 69 cm, depending on the model) and fill with gravel until, once it is in place, it sits flush with the road surface.
4. Before concreting: seal the side junction box carefully so no cement gets in, as this is where you will make the cable connections later. Lay the corrugated duct, with a draw wire, from the sleeve to the control panel.
5. Concrete: backfill around the sleeve with cement or concrete, flush with the ground.
6. Curing: leave to set for 24 to 48 hours.
7. Wiring: pull the cable through the duct. There are 4 wires: 2 for the LEDs and 2 for the motor. Connect the control panel following the markings in the instructions.
8. Easy connection: lower the bollard into the sleeve, propping it up with two 50 mm wooden blocks, one on each side, so you can make the connections in the junction box without strain.
9. Finishing: tidy the cables, remove the wooden blocks, lower the bollard, line up the threads and screw on the top cover.
10. Test: run several up-and-down cycles. You can raise and lower the bollard with the remotes and the app, but not via WhatsApp. If your model supports it, pair the remotes and install the app following the manual.
